CEO/Co-Founder, Jahangir & Bride
As a CEO, personal stylist, and entrepreneur, Jesse Bride has seen it all when it comes to men’s fashion and lifestyle. After joining Brooks Brothers as a sales associate to make ends meet in college, Jesse quickly made a name for himself in the men’s fashion industry, earning the opportunity to work for some of the world’s most prestigious designers. In 2012, Jesse decided to pursue his own vision of a men’s retailer. Using his vast wisdom and experience he created Steelos, an online shop and blog dedicated to showing men that style extends beyond just clothing. Jesse was kind enough to sit with our resident lady Haley and chat about his definition of a gentleman, while dropping some valuable knowledge on building your wardrobe and even your own business.
Q: Can you tell us about your professional background and how you ended up in that chair today?
Q: So Steelos is your current venture. Can you tell us more about it?
Q: What is your personal definition of a gentleman?
Q: How is style more than the clothes you wear?
Q: What influences your personal style?
Q: You mentioned that as a personal stylist you built your clients’ wardrobes around the basics. Would you recommend this to a friend looking to create a timeless wardrobe?
Q: What are the keys to building your own company? What advice would you give young entrepreneurs who have experienced difficulties starting a business and may be thinking of throwing in the towel?
Q: What are you most excited for in 2015?
