Staying hydrated is an endless endeavor. So having a companion water bottle that will keep your water cold the whole day through is crucial. We really like these S'well bottles because of how well they insulate, but also because they offer a matte finish that has a very minimalistic aesthetic that you don't get with the traditional translucent water bottle you used in high school. We suggest going with the 17oz because it fits in most cup holders and is perfect for gauging intake, with 7 of these getting you to the recommended daily dose (3.7 liters) of agua.

Sonos Play:1 Wifi Speaker

Music is a powerful tool. It can add tension to your scary movie scenes, energy to your workouts, and peacefulness to your morning routine. The ambiance amplifier that is a good sound track is an awesome mood adjuster or augmenter that necessitates a true-sounding speaker to give you the full effect. The Play:1 wifi speaker from Sonos, while it is the smallest format Sonos provides, is exactly that. This little guy emits some serious sound. Note that while this isn't a bluetooth speaker you can take everywhere, you can put this anywhere around your house, without having to worry about running upstairs and disconnecting, ruining the mood for everyone not in your area of your house. It is humid resistant but not water proof, so you can put it in your bathroom but keep it out of the rain. It runs off of the Sonos app that integrates with all the major music streaming apps, and has localized controls on the speaker itself for when the master of the music is out of the room and you need to adjust the levels. The best part is its ability to build off other Sonos products, allowing you to listen to the same music throughout the house or turn on different tunes in each rooms, giving you full audio control over your space.

Bull Dog Original Face Wash

While not the most luxurious brand out there, Bull Dog promises a well made product that is environmentally and animal friendly and won't leave your wallet feeling empty. With it's Bergamot (think Earl Grey), citrus, and cedar wood scent, it smells like the man you want to be and cleans your face without drying it out so you can look like him too.

Anker Astro E5 Portable Charger

Whether you're attending a festival, hiking up a mountain, camping with some friends, or simply roaming a city for a day, having an extra charge for your phone is always a good idea. This is where the Anker portable charger comes in, capable of charging an iPhone 6S 5.5x, or a Samsung Galaxy S7 3x, this thing packs a serious punch for its size. We've tested it through a backpacking trip across Europe and two Tomorrowland festivals, and this thing keeps kicking. Be prepared, and keep your phone alive.

gowan [NYC]'s American Oxford Shirt

Our friends at gowan [NYC] know what they're doing around an oxford shirt. Having created the world's only american sourced, milled, and constructed cotton oxford with their old line March and Held (R.I.P.) they have tested and proven their altered dimensioned take on an american classic works. In fact, most of us here at What is a Gentleman own at least one of these bad boys (some of us own 3+), and it is turning into a going out go-to. The best part is, they just dropped their price, and didn't change the product (still constructed in NYC), which means you're getting more bang for your buck. Enjoy.

Pace Breaker Short - Lulu Lemon

Alright, gents - I know what you're thinking. Lulu Lemon? You've got to be kidding me. Trust me - I thought the same thing. Then, I spontaneously tried these shorts on after noticing that they were on sale. I haven't taken them off since. The fabric is soft and extra stretchy, and they have a built-in liner made from breathable, sweat-wicking LYCRA (so think somewhere between full compression and regular boxer briefs). I took this to mean that underwear is optional, although this has yet to be confirmed, so it's almost like going commando without actually going commando. Do yourself a favor and check them out. If you hurry, they may still be on sale!

Book: 100 Deadly Skills

This guide by Clint Emerson (a retired Navy SEAL) is a welcomed addition to coffee tables across the country as it is sure to spark some interesting conversations. At first glance, it may seem a bit far-fetched, but once you peel back the cover and start reading you realize the usefulness of many of Clint's ideas. While "Steal a Plane" and "Dispose of a Body" may not be very high on your list of priorities, skills like "Pick a Lock" and "Survive an Active Shooter" can always be useful and even life-saving in the case of the latter.

Part of growing up is getting used to the idea that taking care of your things helps you spend less money in the long run, like your coffee table or desk for instance. Don't riddle your tabletops with water or whiskey rings from your glasses, put a coaster down, and make that table last. And since you are buying grown-up things, you might as well buy cool ones, enter Commonplace's cast bronze coasters. Made from 100% pure bronze, these heavy beauties (with imperfections and all) are an awesome statement to any bachelor pad.

J.Crew Abington Weekender Bag

When looking for a weekender, we usually prefer canvas, its versetile, strong, flexible, and if you end up putting it down in a puddle by accident you can toss it in the wash. This weekender is owned by two of us here at WhatIsAGentleman, and we like it, a lot. and at a price point under $300 its pretty much a steal.
