MVMT "The 40" 40mm Black and Silver Watch

via MVMTWatches.com

via MVMTWatches.com

MVMT watches have been really upping their game lately. This 40mm watch called "The 40" has a great aesthetic to match any black-schemed outfit. With a 40mm face and a 20mm band width, the watch has an understated symmetrical design that screams class. The band is real leather so it will only get better looking with age. However, this watch is not your daily wearer. The glass covering the face is mineral based, not sapphire meaning it can scratch pretty easily, so this is not your activities day watch, but your big meeting, attending a wedding watch.

Timex Waterbury Worldtime Watch

Where are you? What time is it? Who's president? While this watch can't answer the last question, it can tell you the rest. This Waterbury Timex watch is more than meets the eye, as it transforms to tell time based on geolocation. Flying from country to country can take a toll on your inner clock, so if you are the world traveller, this watch is perfect. It has 24 different cities across the various timezones to align you to the local time when you move laterally, and a winter/summer indicator for when you travel horizontally, keeping you in the know. In addition, the face has a military time indicator, just in case you start confusing sunrise with sun set, which can be hard when you've been parting for 3 days straight in Vegas or Ibiza. These, along with a standard date dial are all set against a soft background of a world map, just to remind you how more there is to explore.

MVMT Rosewood Voyager Watch

via MVMTwatches.com

MVMT has some stellar designers on their team. Their fleet of watches are chalk full of designs from minimalistic to ultra modern. We are a fan of a more classical look, hence we present to you the Rosewood Voyager watch. This 42mm face has two alternate time zone dials for the frequent traveller, and is only 11mm thick, so hitting it against every door frame is less likely. The only thing we will warn you about is the strap. Expect to get a new strap for this time teller about 2 months in, while it is annoying, getting a new strap (perhaps from another vendor) makes the watch unique to you, and we all want to be unique right? Right.

MVMT Voyager Watch

By now you are likely to have seen the MVMT watches across various social media sites, their social game is really on point these days. Beyond their affinity for wooing the instagram elite, they are actually good at making cool-looking watches. Case and point, this Slate Voyager timepiece. Black on black on black with a granite colored stainless steel strap will make you a serious character. This is a villain's watch for sure, so take it out for a spin and be the bad guy for once (but like still respect women and stuff because, you know, you're still a gentleman, just a badass one now). The two dials are for two different time zones, to keep you on top of your jetsetter schedule, or just always know what time it is in London, New York and LA, because why not right? This watch goes super well with a black suit for a black tie event, or even with some black jeans, a dope bomber, and a white T-shirt.

Jack Mason 42mm Tachymeter Chronograph

via Nordstrom.com

Jack Mason is a Texas-based All-American leather works and watch brand that is making some awesome gear with subtle nods to their roots. This Tachymeter Chronograph is a racing watch with some serious badassery baked into its 42mm blue face. The second hand has a touch of red white and blue hinting at the great country Jack Mason calls home, and the Tachymeter etching around the outside helps measure time against speed to make this one slick racing watch. The watch is rated at 10ATM meaning you don't have to worry about washing your hands, wearing it in the shower, or getting caught in one of the many impromptu rainstorms of spring. We suggest wearing this with blue jeans on a road trip, any adventure needing a leather jacket, or even speeding to the conference room in your navy suit.

Daniel Wellington Dapper St Mawes Watch

Daniel Wellington has experienced quite the meteoric rise in the past few years, and for good reason. Their minimalistic style and extremely low profile offer an err of elegance without breaking the bank. This Dapper St Mawes watch is one of our favorites, but they have plenty of other great choices on their site.
