This might be our favorite coffee table book we own. Not only is it hilarious and satirical as you can get, it also has a lot of actual knowledge tucked between its blatant scoffs at some of the ridiculousness that the mens fashion champions come up with. Complete with a glossary, breakdown of fashion archetypes, and a cargo pants full of fashion bro inspired poems, this book brings a smile and heavy exhale-through-the-nose type laughter every time we pick it up. Even though its a few years old, if you are into fashion and can laugh at yourself, this books is a must-own.

The Obstacle is the Way by Ryan Holiday

Stoicism is an ancient philosophy based on Marcus Aurelius' commentary around a person's perception of obstacles that arise between a person and their goals. The basis of this philosophy states that obstacles, no matter how hard they may appear to overcome, are put in front of you for a reason. And your ability to navigate over or around them will lead you to grow in a way that will prepare you for future endeavors. It's a pretty interesting way to think about the world, and Ryan Holiday does an excellent job making it relatable through history and daily life. He gives copious examples of persons who have used it in the distant and more recent past, and motivates you, the reader, to include this perception-based philosophy into your current decision-making process. We recommend this for anyone looking to improve their daily outlook and be motivated to do what they love.

Book: 100 Deadly Skills

This guide by Clint Emerson (a retired Navy SEAL) is a welcomed addition to coffee tables across the country as it is sure to spark some interesting conversations. At first glance, it may seem a bit far-fetched, but once you peel back the cover and start reading you realize the usefulness of many of Clint's ideas. While "Steal a Plane" and "Dispose of a Body" may not be very high on your list of priorities, skills like "Pick a Lock" and "Survive an Active Shooter" can always be useful and even life-saving in the case of the latter.
