Weekly Theme: Sweater Weather

Who needs some CHONK!? This fisherman sweater is new type of cable-knit. It has slits on the sides at the bottom so it doesn’t give you a fake muffin-top, and is made from merino wool and organic cotton meaning it’s soft and durable. This sweater is also constructed in a way that is fully knitted around the garment, not made from panels, aka no seams, so you don’t have to worry about itchy inner seams or seams popping along the sides. So if you want to be comfy, warm, and look like you just got off your sail boat that’s docked on the cape (or the Delaware water front), this is a quintessential option for you.

Club Monaco Wool Cashmere Topcoat

We have jumped from PSL's to peppermint mocha's a little fast this year, so because of this, we are giving you the heavier stuff a bit early. Apparently Club Monaco got the same memo, and are having a sale on all of their jackets, including this awesome Wool Cashmere topcoat. The wool cashmere blend gives it a high-quality soft feel that is also durable enough for a sturdy topcoat. Complete with two flap pockets on the outside, lined interior pockets, and a welt breast pocket this jacket is designed like the classics with a more modern fit. While this topcoat is definitely an invest that is well worth it's cost, it won't go out of fashion any time soon (as it hasn't yet since the 1920s). Wear it over your suit, blazer and slacks, jeans and button-down, or a sweatshirt, it goes with it all.

Available on ClubMonaco.com on sale for $476 (from $595)

Indochino Merino Wool Flannel Blazer

Winter is coming, and quickly. We seemed to have skipped over most Fall throughout the northern state, as daily highs are only reaching the mid 50s, and nightly temps are plunging even in the southern states. This means its time for some warmer sport coats. A great new guy on the scene is this merino wool flannel blazer from Indochino. The fabric is super soft, warm, and has a great roll on the collar. With a tread-count in the Super 100's the wool should stay together and last quite a while, meaning this can be inserted into your weekly wearers. And why wouldn't want to include this, it has a uniqueness your coworkers are likely not to have in their closets, setting you a part. The maroon and blue color combo allows it to go well with khakis, gray slacks, and blue jeans, so feel free to break this out for work and play.

Available on Indochino.com on sale for $280 (from $520)

United By Blue Ragg Wool Beanie

In honor of the massive snow storm hitting the east coast, we wanted to give you gents something warm. This Ragg Wool beanie from United by Blue is 100% virgin wool that is a bit rougher than its finely processed cousins. The thickness of the wool provides more warmth where other, more refined, wools like merino fall short. Since wool is naturally water resistant, it will fair well should you end up in the snow. I know what you're thinking, "thick wool sounds itchy" well it is, which is why they added an acrylic liner so your head only touches the soft stuff.

A pair of good leather gloves is a must for colder weather. Gloves that you can actually use with your phone, is even more important, not to mention more practical. These gloves have soft leather on the outside, and look similar to gloves twice the price. On the inside, you'll find polyester lining, which compared to animal fur, is slimmer, limiting bulk in the fingers without sacrificing warmth.
