If you find yourself coming up with great ideas at odd times, are terrible with remembering lists, or can't seem to keep track of verbal invitations, then a pocket notebook is the thing to have. A Panama Notebook like this one from Smythson are great, and perfect for those still into the art of writing down notes by hand (which tends to improve data retention). While there are alternatives like those offered by field notes, these Panama notebooks are a bit more sturdy, due to their leather covers, meaning that will not fall apart after a month of it living in your back pocket. In terms of size, it's about the size of a medium stack of 3x5 cards which isn't too cumbersome for a pocket while still being worth the price tag.

Topman Blue Chambray Button-Up

Every guy needs at least one shirt that can transition well from work to play, and nothing does that like a good chambray (check the rhyme gents). This Blue chambray button-up from Topman is a great work shirt that can be an even better going out option with a simple untucking. This specific shirt is designed in Topman's muscle fit style, meaning its has a fairly steep taper, and higher cut arm holes at the shoulders to help show off all the work you've been putting in at the gym with your New Years Resolution. That being said, this style is definitely more for body types that are wider at the shoulders than the waist, so keep that in mind. You can wear this with your (hopefully dwindling) fleet of khakis, navy blue chino's (for some blue on blue love) or olive cords for a warm, comfortable look that is riddled with texture.

Chambray shorts are hard to beat when looking to let the hairy hotdogs loose. These gray chambray shorts from Boden are the latest design of their extremely popular chino shorts. The modern-fit construction fits most guys with medium-sized thighs and the chambray material lets the top of your trunks breathe, so regardless of how hot you are, the ladies will think you're cool (punspunspuns!). As an added point of character, the folks over at Boden added a striped lining on the inside of the bottom hem, so feel free to roll those puppies up and add some bam to your leg jam!

Drake's Blue Chambray Button-Down

Drake's is a famous English brand known across the globe for their 7-fold, high-quality ties. Drake's took this knowledge of fabric and tailoring applied to a soft blue chambray shirt, and made a super comfortable daily wearer. The cutaway collar is a classic design, and the buttons are mother-of-pearl from Austrailia. There are no buttons for the collar, so we suggest magnetic collar stays like wurkinstiffs. A fit note, the chest a good size for most based on their sizes, but consider minor tailoring for the waist if you are slimmer, as this is a standard fit shirt.
