Wrangler Raw Skinny-Fit Selvedge Jeans

We've had our heads in Denim quite frequently as of late. While we have tried to venture away from the indigo twill, we can't seem to stay away for long. If you haven't read our deep dive into jeans and what makes a great pair, be sure to check it out here. These selvedge raw denim jeans from wrangler are an ode to the old way of making jeans, manufactured in the only large format selvedge denim factory left in the states. These jeans are made in the same place as the Levis selvedge lines and are sold at the same exact price point. The big difference here is cut. If you want an American-made, skinnier, more modern fit, with a slightly lower rise than you can get with the Levis line, then these are for you. Also be aware, these come with a button fly and are truly skinny jeans. If you have a set of tree trunks for thighs, we suggest going with the slim instead.

DSTLD Skinny-Slim Indigo Grey Denim Jeans

A staple in any man's closet is a pair of dark-washed jeans. They can be the daily wear, and be dressed up when the occasion calls for it. These dark indigo grey jeans from DSTLD are awesomely dark, raw denim that will wear nicely over the 5+ years you'll have them and won't be going out of style any time soon. These LA-made jeans are cut in a way to reduce the bagginess around the thigh and the ankle without being so tight that motion is reduced to a robot walk so don't be scared off by the skinny label. They go great with just about anything and are dark enough to be included in the smart casual dress code category so pop on that sport coat and start networking. One note: These are Raw Denim, meaning if you wash them, wash them in cold water only, and never throw them in the dryer if you want them to remain the same size. To get rid of any smells, we suggest you put them in the freezer, yes the freezer, for about a day.

Banana Republic's Travelers Jean

The Banana Republic Travelers may be the best jeans we have tried yet. The denim is super soft and with 19% Polyester, they are a looser male version of jeggings (full squats are definitely doable). The jeans come in a dark wash (our favorite) black and grey variations, with skinny, slim, and straight cuts. We recommend the slim cut as the skinny's are VERY skinny around the calves and the straights are a bit baggy from the knee down.
