SaturdaysNYC White Orchid T-shirt Review

via Saturdaysnyc.com

via Saturdaysnyc.com

This kind of block graphic T-shirt has been growing in popularity for a while now. This "California desert hipster" look as we call it has been making it's way around the country at a very fast pace, with supreme, Gucci, and Louis-V hopping on the style train. The good news is, you don't have to pay $130 for a t-shirt. While $48 is still a bit steep, this one is worth it. The orchid graphic is different and a good size, with nothing extra on the back. It's clean and simple. It will go well with black, green, or maroon pants, jeans, shorts, and what ever sneaker you want. Snag it and pair it with your other summer staples.

Available on SaturdaysNYC.com for $48

Nike Air Huarache Drift SE Review

via Nike.com

This week's theme is curb appeal, aka streetwear attire. SO it kick it off, lets go with an old staple: Nike Huaraches. While Nike Huarache's have been around since '91, they haven'y always looked like this. With an original inspiration from South American sandals and waterski boots, this once game-changing running shoe is now a street icon. The Huarache goes with pretty much all of your casual clothes and can be rocked on a weekday night out, or a weekend out and about. The cred is real, and this shoe looks real good. Pair with jeans, black, green, or maroon chinos, heck wear 'em with shorts and no shows, it all looks dope.

H&M Hooded T-shirt

via hm.com

via hm.com

We are channelling our inner Californian with this pick. This hooded t-shirt is a step off from the classic work-play crossover spectrum we normally play in and a step into the street style of Long Beach. A hooded t-shirt provides a unique style with some mild added functionality, especially in the cold. This piece is a great snag if you are looking to add a different vibe to your closet without investing a lot. We suggest you pair this with a nice pair of skinny jeans and some Nike Presto's along with a gym membership to make everything slightly tighter to complete the look.

If you are into the sneaker game, these would make a great addition.

Nike Free RN Flyknits

The Flyknits were designed as a running shoe, meant to be unnoticed when worn, but in reality, they make a great, comfy street shoe laced with style. While flyknits don't really provide a ton of support for those who need it (flat footed and the like), they are basically slippers, great for plane rides, day trips around town, and your morning coffee run. Be comfy and look good, grab a pair.

Rolla's Stinger Skinny Jeans

via revolve.com

via revolve.com

For those of us into the streetwear game, these Rolla's skinny jeans should be a closet standard. The iconic knee rip design and skinny tapper from the knee down to the ankle give these jeans a classic streetwear look without being too stiff since they have elastane woven into the cotton denim. What's better is they aren't going to be as expensive as some of their higher designer counterparts.

Gap 1969 Denim Jacket

Few things last like the denim jacket, and the Fall is the perfect time to rock it. This kind of jacket is a standard that needs to be in every modern gentleman's closet. Layering it over a t-shirt in early October and throwing a flannel on underneath toward the end of the season is our typical wear routine. The only caution we will impart is to avoid the denim suit. If you are wearing a blue jean jacket, do us a favor and skip the blue jeans.
